The Disappearing Male

"We are conducting a vast toxicological experiment in which our children and our children's children are the experimental subjects." Dr. Herbert Needleman

The Disappearing Male is about one of the most important, and least publicized, issues facing the human species: the toxic threat to the male reproductive system.

The last few decades have seen steady and dramatic increases in the incidence of boys and young men suffering from genital deformities, low sperm count, sperm abnormalities and testicular cancer.

At the same time, boys are now far more at risk of suffering from ADHD, autism, Tourette's syndrome, cerebral palsy, and dyslexia.

The Disappearing Male takes a close and disturbing look at what many doctors and researchers now suspect are responsible for many of these problems: a class of common chemicals that are ubiquitous in our world.

Found in everything from shampoo, sunglasses, meat and dairy products, carpet, cosmetics and baby bottles, they are called "hormone mimicking" or "endocrine disrupting" chemicals and they may be starting to damage the most basic building blocks of human development.

Warning: Contains some nudity (a child birth scene), possibly in part 2.

Yes!!! I came across this documentary some time ago and I could not believe there are so many out there who are still ignorant to this fact!! Indeed our Prophet(saws) made such prophecy... as well as many other which we find ourselves living through today.. Shouldn't this be a HUGE SIGN ON THE ROAD.. and a WAKE UP CALL???!!! Because of this bit of news I've been very careful not to buy plastics anymore... and I've felt compelled at times to get rid of every single plastic toy in our house!! But in the end, we do what we can.. our best! and we put our trust in Allah!!! Alhamdulillah we have 2 sons.. and they are the 'light' of our eyes and our home!! MashaAllah!!... Thanks so much for posting this documentary!!! I hope many out there can see it and pass it along!!! I personally would pay to have it shown on national TV.. but of course that would be a long shot! lol Thanks again :D

Assalamu aleikum.

Aha! It was your blog I got it from! But when I wanted to refer to your post, I forgot where I'd seen it, and searched for ages on the wrong blog...! Got fed up and googled in the end.

It's madness, and I did a post about plastic in cans not being so serious, because "they" say so - I should know better than to trust governmental establishments & institutions.

I think I'll send this to my e-lists as well.
